Developed by IO Interactive A/S, a Square Enix studio, HITMAN: SNIPER CHALLENGE is not part of the main game, but a stand-alone experience to reward fans who pre-order HITMAN: ABSOLUTION. Players can don the suit of Agent 47 as he takes on an exclusive assassination assignment. From a balcony overlooking a rooftop gathering, players will be tasked with taking out Richard Strong, Jr., CEO of Stallion Armaments, along with his entire staff of bodyguards. Skilled players will capitalize on score multipliers, hidden secrets, unlock equipment upgrades and marvel at the many creative ways one can discretely dispose of a body while they work to fulfil their contract in the most efficient way possible.

An online leaderboard allows players to compare their sniping abilities with monthly prizes, keeping the stakes high through launch. In North America, the top sniper at the time of HITMAN: ABSOLUTION’s launch will win a trip for two to Copenhagen, Denmark where they will meet with the HITMAN development team and have their likeness incorporated into the next HITMAN game. [EN]: It’s almost two weeks away for Nintendo’s presentation at E3 2012, and the company wants you to see it, anyway you want it. On June 5th, the presentation will be seen live on TV (via Spike TV and MTV2) and on the Web (via Nintendo’s E3 site). On Facebook and Twitter, people will be getting updates from the event as it happens, while on YouTube, Nintendo will show videos of upcoming games and hardware. Even on Instagram the house of Mario will be sharing pictures, and for the ones attending, or if you are not going and are just curious, the E3 app is already available on mobile devices.

[EN]: It seems like Dmc Devil May Cry will not launch when people expect it. Now, Capcom has informed the gaming press the release date for Dmc Devil May Cry, a reboot of the company’s franchise. The game will make its debut on January 15th, 2013 in North America and Europe. Along with the email sent to the press, Capcom also released some info and images of a character named Kat.

Kat is a former runaway that joined The Order very early in her life. She is a medium and a gifted psychic who can see into Limbo, the demon realm, but not directly interact with it in the way that Dante does. She is the right hand girl to the Leader of The Order and devotes her life to him, often putting herself in grave danger to gather intelligence from Limbo.

There is a sweet innocence about Kat’s world view and logic, but when it comes to her specialist subject, the demon realm, she is an undoubted expert. Kat is The Order’s ‘eyes and ears’ and is tasked with guiding Dante on his mission through Limbo.

E3 2012 is only two weeks away, but it’s never too early to listen to some rumors going on before the expo.

The Paul Gale Network, the one blog that first broke the news about Sony’s PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, has reported a rumor that Retro Studios is either working, or have in the past considered working, on a game called Star Fox – Metroid: Fusion Saga.

The concept combines the style of gameplay of both titles: the third-person, high-action air and land battles from Star Fox, and the first-person perspective from Metroid Prime.

The story: Fox McCloud and his friends are on a mission, but then their Airwing collides with Samus’ ship. You, as Fox, take control of her ship.

There is lots of info on the site, but of course, this is just a rumor. The source of this rumor does say that this was a concept at Nintendo and Retro Studios. The source does say the following: What I can’t tell you or even guess, really, is whether or not this concept is actually the game that Retro Studios has been working on all this time for Wii U.

El concepto combina los estilos de juego de ambos títulos: las batallas en tercera persona con acción aérea y terranal de Star Fox, y la perspectiva de tercera persona de Metroid Prime.
