So that’s what happened to Red Roses! Yesterday Red Roses were briefly released to the FarmVille Market for a short duration before they vanished.

From these unreleased images, it seems as though Red Roses will be a part of an upcoming FarmVille Save the Children promotion for Valentines Day.

You’ll still have to purchase a license to grow this Limited Edition Farm Cash crop, but your purchase will act as a donation towards Save the Children.

More info as we know it and we’ll be sure to let you know when this promotion goes live in-game.

Tonight FarmVille introduced yet another Limited Edition crop! Red Rose is a Farm Cash Limited Edition Valentines Day crop that can be purchased via the FarmVille Market. Before you can grow Red Roses on your farm, you’ll have to first purchase a permit for 5 Farm Cash.

After you purchase the permit, you’ll able to grow an unlimited amount of Red Roses during the duration allowed. There is Crop Mastery available for Red Roses, and as long as you master the crop during your active permit, you’ll be able to receive the Red Rose Crop Mastery Sign.

Similar to other Farm Cash crops, Red Roses will never wither. Which means you can harvest them whenever you want or go ahead and harvest them on time at every 16 hours. You’ll also be getting 4 XP and 220 Farm Coins when harvested.

Happy February, and happy FarmVille Updates! Tonight, FarmVille released three ongoing themes including Valentines Day items such as these Limited Edition trees, as well as more Anti V-Day items, and finally several re-releases of past Limited Edition items.

The two new Valentines Day trees are the Heart Cotton Candy Tree and the Giant Heart Cotton Candy Tree. Each of these trees are masterable and can be purchased directly using Farm Cash via the FarmVille Market. If you’re lucky you can also score some of these trees for free from your awesome neighbors’ Facebook News Feed shares.
